The HistoryTHE BEGINNING OF SLACKERS MOTIVATEDTwo friends founded a clan and named it {WBK}. Westbank is the name of the area where the Mississippi river flows from the north and deposits into the Gulf of Mexico. Minion and Shadow Killa the founders of {WBK}, grew up in this area. Westbank Killas {WBK} took off and soon had a full roster of excellent shooters. The hard question was if the growth should be limited so the members would be able to play in matches. Most matches have slots for 5-6 maybe 8 players. {WBK} often had twenty skilled players showing up to play. And so, a sister clan was born. The name borrowed from a Paintball team Drewcif and Zelötic had known gave the sister clan Slackers Motivated a name. {WBK}TheJackal, {WBK}Drewcif, and {WBK}Zelötic lead the clan recruiting and organizing. Minion tells us the urban legend was that the members of Slacker's Motivated would move up to {WBK} as openings became available. This idea is still circulated today, but untrue. The {WBK} roster is to this day filled with original members all hand picked and invited to join. {WBK} was supportive when [SM] expressed desire to become independent. [SM]Negative-0 had a dream and went after it. Negative started (and built) the first[SM] servers. Also the first teamspeak, forum and web site independant from {WBK}. With technical server support from {WBK} Isis and {WBK} Minion, Negative-0 did an outstanding job. [SM]SgtMajor stepped up as clan leader. A few months later SgtMajor was called away from the game for family business with plans to return in the future. Recognizing Negative had his plate full running the server and dealing with the human factor as well, [SM]eVil_krissy stepped in to admin the forums and web site and help with clan business in any area Negative requested. We are looking forward to SgtMajor's return. But, we are okay and have had solid growth the past few months. Nothing can stop us now.
