It is the sole responsibility of each individual to have the needed permission to do so... Thank You =-=-=-= SNIPER SERVER RULES No Running & Gunning ~it's called a sniper server for a reason! Find you a spot and camp... and if your favorite spot is all the way across the map, oh well, suck it up and hold down the one you have as best as you can!!! No Revenge Killing ~someone finds you in a spot and they kill you, don't run across the map in an attempt to return the favor!!! ~However, if u spawn across the map (after you are killed) and use your sniper scope to discover that your killer is still in the same spot,he is fair game to be taken out!!! No Spawn Killing ~lets say u spawn next to someone else, it is up to YOU to run away and get to a sniper spot. Do NOT use those 7 seconds as a weapon (or an attack advantage) and run towards the person already there ...use the spawn time to RUN AWAY!!! No Portal Camping ~do not sit and stare at a portal, you are not playing sniper... you are simply "gopher" hunting!!! Just waiting for someone to come through and blast them to pieces is lame!!! ~An exception to this rule, if u are in a sniper spot which is simply a single room with a portal, it is natural to snipe while watching the portal!!! Examples GOOD - the portals in IlFungiTowers (single room with a portal)!!! BAD - camping the portals on top of the building in Sydney (6 portals spread atop the roof)!!! No Camping Spawn Points ~it is one thing to see someone spawning across the map and blow their head off after the 7 seconds are up. What is not allowed is for people to camp near a popular spawn spot peaking out, waiting for the spawner (who thinks its safe) to spawn and POW!! ~we allow minor cursing. we DO NOT allow cursing directly at (or in a disrespectful manner towards) another player!!! REND COLLISION, AIMBOTS AND RADAR ARE NOT ALLOW TO BE USED!! THESE PROGRAMS ARE CONSIDERED A CHEAT. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT CHEATING YOU WILL BE BANNED, NO QUESTIONS ASKED == WANT TO JOIN THE CLAN ? January 8, 2008 At this time we are adding new clan members by invitation only. PLEASE NOTE: Posted below is for information purposes only since the clan is closed to applications. Often guest players on the server ask us about a try-out or about joining the clan. We would like to explain here that joining the clan is an ongoing process. It doesn't happen over night and tryouts are not scheduled for players until we know you. -First step is to play on the server and feel comfortable with our style of play. -Register on the forum and post with the members. Registering to grab a player skin from downloads is fine, but it's not posting with the clan. -Play on the server frequently to show us your good sportsmanship and sense of fair play. -Buy a headset, Come on our Teamspeak. Use the TeamSpeak playing on the server so the members can get to know you. If you have never posted and never joined our TeamSpeak we do not consider you a player that we "know well" even if we have played together for months. -If you have been in UT clans previously expect us to contact your former leaders for references. -If you were booted for cheating, breaking the rules or poor shortsmanship, SM is probably not the clan for you. The best skills in the world are considered worthless to us if the player lacks good character. - We don't have a Junior Clan at this time and require all our new clan members to be 18+ MULTI-LANGUAGE (english, german, dutch) "this is a campingserver, running and gunning are forbidden, please find a spot and camp" "das ist ein camping server durch die map rennen ist verboten bitte such dir ein Versteck und campe da" "Dit is een campingserver, rondrennen is verboden, zoek een verstop plaats" "Revengekilling is forbidden, don't go back to a player to shoot him" "Revengekill ist verboten. There are good and appropriate places to discuss your political, religious, mental health, ______(fill in the blank) opinions on the net. Our game server is not the place. Recruiting players for your clan, church, political party or other cause is not welcomed here, it's considered advertising and will not be tolerated. We don't wish to have players play else where, but when harassment upsets large numbers of players we are left with no choice. We must act for the good of the whole. In the same vein, attacking another player is not allowed. Take it to messenger or e-mail. It cheapens the entire server to call out profane names directed at another player. Being mad at your damn gun or shitty vision or bullshit map is one thing- don't use vulgar language attacking somebody. Come on kids you know the difference. Have fun playing Unreal Tournament 2004! |
